Hello Lois. Tell us a bit about your new role.
As a Digital Content Writer I will be writing all of the blogs and SEO content to make sure JaeVee has a consistent brand voice and creates the most interesting, relevant, and shareable content we can.
What are you most looking forward to?
Learning about a new-to-me industry hands on. That and getting to know the team!
What drew you to JaeVee?
How much the company has grown so quickly - days after my initial interview, I saw the JaeVee logo on a site on my walk home! It’s very exciting to be involved with a company that has established such a respected presence so early on, but that still always has an eye to growth.
What were your first impressions?
JaeVee is a dynamic, bold and inclusive company who impressed me with their research during the hiring process and have had me hooked on learning about my new role from day one.
What motivates you?
I love competing with myself and making sure I make each new venture better than the last. I also like exploring things from all angles, and getting stuck into new ideas and information.
Who is your favourite superhero and why?
Wonder Woman, because she’s committed to justice without judgment and believes in the best of humanity, no matter how hard the circumstances.
What do you enjoy doing when you're not working?
Reading anything that I can get my hands on, sketching and soaking up those rare rays when they come!
Do you have a secret talent that no one knows about?
I’m a whizz kid of disney trivia.
Do you have a favourite quote?
‘I don’t know where I’m going from here, but I can promise it won’t be boring.’
Do you know any random facts?
Edgar Allan Poe was originally going to write about a Parrot!
Favourite band and type of music?
No-one can beat a bit of Blondie. I love anything from the 60s-80’s. Groovy.
And finally, if you could pick any biscuit to eat, what would it be?
A brookie - that’s a glorious frankenstein of Brownie and Cookie with flavors from freddo to Bounty - from ‘And eat it’ in Norwich Market. Sinful.
